Phuket, Magical Island & Breathtaking Beaches

The one thing that I would do over when arriving in Phuket is to dress lighter! No jeans, heavy coat or sweater. Coming from the Pacific Northwest, out of habit, I was too layered. Phuket has so much to offer, warm climate, beautiful beaches, and fantastic outdoor activities! We chose to spend our days lounging by the pool, morning runs on the beach, day trips to temples and visiting Turtle Village (only a five-minute shuttle drive from the resort).  

One night only Bangkok Banyan Tree

Touring Thailand for the past few weeks was quite the experience. I decided to spend my last night in Bangkok. During my trip, everyone that I met kept on telling me that I have to visit Banyan Tree before leaving Thailand. I kept on thinking, what is the big deal?  

Chiang Mai Street Food, Live Music & Traditional Thai Cooking

After spending three days in Phuket, we flew from Phuket International Airport (HKT) to Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), approx. 2-hour flight. Chiang Mai, located in the Northern part of Thailand is referred to as the 'Rose of the North'-with its chilled city vibes and warm climate, compared to Bangkok which is a busier compacted city. There are many fun things to do in Chiang Mai, from temples to beautiful historical cultural sites, fabulous restaurants, night markets and live music.
