My world changed when I was very young, seeing the destruction of my homeworld. I ended up at an orphanage which lasted until my teens; I didn’t recall much, and I know why. Is it possible to block things out of your mind forever? I would ask so many questions to Nanu, “all that matters is that you’re safe and I will always do my best to look out for you.” It wouldn’t make sense until a decade later of what she meant.
